Went Saturday. It was really nice. Put in at Providence St. a little after 3pm. (4:50pm Low Tide at Warren) Went up river a short piece, but a tree that I could probably get over if the water level was higher blocked the passage.
Went down stream past the electric wires at the golf course. About 5:50 we turned around.
There is a tree down stream from Providence St. that was a little hard to get over on the way back. And we had to walk the boats up a bit of stream at the gun club. Had to get back in the boats to cross the last 30 yards to the take out /put in. It was too deep in one direction and too soft in the other.
Anyone know how the river level relates the tide in Warren? What is the time difference? we assumed the level would have been higher when we got back to the cars. (about 8:30).
