Sunday July 30th 2006. putting in at Stephen's Field at 12:30pm. Paddle Plymouth Harbor over to Long Beach for lunch and a swim. Then back to Plymouth past the Mayflower 2 and the Rock. Take note, The harbor is well protected from the open water. However it can get windy if conditions are right. This trip is best suited for Kayaks.
DIRECTIONS to Spephen's Field from RI- RT 95 north to Rt 495 towards Cape Cod.Follow 495 south until you get to RT 44. Get off at the exit for RT 44 East. Follow the new Rt 44 to Rt 3 south. Enter onto Rt 3 south. Get off at Exit 5. At traffic light turn left onto South St. follow South St about 1 mile. At Stop sign bare right onto Sandwish St. Go about 800 ft. through Flashing yellow lights. Then look for sign for Stephen's Field on Left.Its just past the Fire station on the left. Bare left at that point. Parking lot for put in is on the right next to the tennis courts. There are bathrooms at the put in.
