Hi Mike,
stone River,North of the Millville Gorge. Locals
have told me that it is free of dams and waterfalls for about 8 - 10 miles. I have gone for a few miles and have found calm water. I did see very clean shoreline and varied wildlife.
I believe that you would be safe with your rubber raft in this area. If you try it there, I'm sure that you will be glad you did.
