Greetings, My Mother-in-law passed away recently and I am helping my father-in-law to downsize. She had many collectables. I do not know what value they are or how to find a home for them with someone who will appreciate them as she did. Can you help me out? Whatever I sell will be to support my father-in-law. I have images. I have 4 Flow Blue plates sizes ranging from 7.5" to 10.5". One has Scinde on the back, One with England/KYBER Wareams & Co?, One with HORE, Timis PHillips & Sons, Burslem? and another with Pearl Stoneware, PW & Co & The Temple . I was not sure how to attach the images. Thank you for your time and consideration
If you would like to email me photos of your pieces, I can tell you a bit more about what you have. We don't give values here, so I would suggest that you check eBay to see what comparable items have SOLD for to give you an idea of what the value is. Condition is key, and you need to let potential buyers know if there are cracks, chips, etc. Plates normally don't go for much, even if they are popular patterns. SCINDE (probably by Alcock?) and KYBER need to be clarified as far as potter, as several potters made those patterns. I imagine the 3rd pattern is LAHORE by Thomas Phillips, sometimes the backstamps are hard to decipher.TEMPLE most likely is Podmore Walker (ca 1850).
