Help in Identification

Hi, I'm wondering what the best way of telling whether or not a set of 2 pitchers I own are authentic old Flow Blue. They are 2 birds(I think cranes) trimmed in gold, with gold trim around the rim and handle. No marks on the bottoms, however they are stamped on the bottom with YORK, and the larger of the 2 has a small #1605 hand painted with the Gold trim on the bottom. They were originally purchased from a very reputable antique auction house in North Texas several years ago. This auction sells quite a bit of Flow Blue, so I feel like they are authentic, but don't know how to prove it. |
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
