I recently purchased on Ebay a Kyber (Adams) butter dish, complete with base, drain, and lid. While the base and drain look to be true for the butter dish, the lid is a whole other matter. The base of the lid is 8-sided while the indentation in the dish is round :-(. Yes, I should have examined the pictures more closly... However, on the outside chance that Adams truly made the butter dish in this manner rather than make a snug, round bottom lid, I am putting the question out there: does anyone have a Kyber butter dish and how is the lid made? Will appreciate your expert advice and please stifle your chuckles......
