Message board/Postings

Could someone please tell me who is the Webmaster for FBICC? I think it would be great if postings could include photos. (Am I missing something here?)

Good morning Linda, I will be assuming the duties as Web Master as we transition to the new FBICC Web Site. As to posting photos... I assume there are no photos because posters haven't taken the time to link a photo to their posts! As you can see, the message board allows photos. (Sorry for the photo subject, I don't have any Flow Blue photos posted at Photo Bucket)

Hi Linda. the FBICC Board of Directors is considering a major expansion of this site. Currently, for members only, we have a great Pattern ID section with pattern photos. This section contains about 1500 flow blue and mulberry patterns. Each photo also has a description and vital information pertaining to that pattern. We expect that the pattern ID section will grow to 3000+ photos and descriptions. This Club is a "not for profit" Club and the volunteer Board of Directors strive to keep operating costs low so our annual membership dues stay low / affordable. Again, the Board is considering a major expansion of this site - but as you probably know, professional grade websites are expensive to build and maintain. Jerry

Thanks for the reply. Glad to hear the message board allows postings. I would think it would make selling or searching for pieces so much easier!

Thanks! I do understand that cost is an issue, but it just seems like having photos, particularly with the "For Sale" ads, would make the site so much more functional. Guess I have too many "techie" friends! :-)
