Hello, all: I have a very heavy pottery tray, marked Stone Ware on the back, with a "D" below those words. Any help identifying the maker would be very much appreciated.

This would be a piece by Thomas Dimmock & Co. - they used the Crown in their marks and also used the wording Stone Ware - dates used 1828-59 Scroll would be the pattern
