Thank you for your detailed response, which I found quite encouraging. I will proceed with the listing and photographing as you suggested. When I am done where should I send the list? How do I advertise on the website? Just through the message board?
I was wondering about selling the collection as a whole instead of piece by piece, although I had already thought of EBay. How likely is it that someone would buy the whole collection? Would there be a museum that might be interested? Again, any information would be helpful.
I live in Vancouver, WA and have tried already to contact flow blue dealers in the area. One has shown interest and I have also asked if she might be interested in helping me with pricing. No reply yet. If she is a dealer, how could she work with me without it being a conflict of inerest? I have thought of paying her a commission based on sales. Do you know of anyone in this area? Maybe I'll find someone at the Palmer Wirfs Antique Show this weekend, July 11-12.
Thanks,
Marh
