Hello Danna,
The St. Louis pattern by Johnson Bros. was the only pattern that company made with red polychrome. It could have been bought with or without the polychrome. Many of the Johnson Bros. patterns did have gold trim and highlights. Sometimes it is hard to tell as the gold does wear off over the years from use and cleaning. That body style was made starting in 1901/1902. This information can be found in VanBuskirk's book Late Victorian Flow Blue and Other Ceramic Wares. A great reference book to have if one is collecting johnson Bros., Grindley or the Meakins. The red polychrome St. Louis does show up on eBay once in a while but not as often as the non polychrome version. The Flow Blue club can be another option for collecting. When you join you will get a roster which gives information on what other members collect and I do know several members do collect St Louis. And the members also keep a look out for what you collect. The convention also has more flow blue in one place with the auction and sales. That is how we have been able to add to our collection. Hope this is helpful.
