I have inherited some unusual pieces of flow blue Johnson Brothers St. Louis pattern. There are several serving pieces.
The stamp is the crown with St. Louis on top and Johnson Bros. England beneath. The pattern looks like the typical St. Louis pattern, but these pieces are highly enhanced. There is gold gilding around the edges that is worn, and gold gilding around on the pattern with small red floral designs. All pieces have the same enhancing. Very pretty.
I have looked on the internet and in books and have not been able to find another piece like these to compare. Any information would be appreciated.
