Hi Donna, you don't state if this piece is flow blue, transferware or something else. I can tell you that according to Kowalsky's Encyclopedia of Marks that the potters mark Cauldon England dates between 1905 and 1920. I would suppose Peking Star is the pattern name? I can't find this pattern listed in any of our reference books which makes me think you probably have a transferware piece? Possibly this communication will break the ice and others will come forward with more information. Possibly you have a very rare piece that has not been seen and cataloged before? Whether your compote is flow or other, just enjoy and treasure it for it's been around for a long time. If you are a member of this club, bring the compote to one of the regional meetings or to the national convention (St. Louis in July) and someone will know the story on your "treasure".
