Hi Donna, Your compote in the DERBY pattern was produced by the W.H. Grindley and Co. pottery c.1899. It is one of two patterns that Grindley also produced using red polychrome (Yours being without and the other pattern being COUNTESS). We can say c.1899 because we know the body style was US patented October 31, 1899. An items true value can be very subjective, and one that all our club members try to achieve through their membership in the Flow Blue Club.
