Hi Sondra, I was researching your request and found the "Kisnick" pattern not written up in most of the research books we have. I did find the "Keswick" pattern made by Wood & Sons described in Petra Williams book "Flow Blue China - An Aid to Identification". Its circa date is 1891. The description states the border is printed with baroque cartouche forms that enclose small wild roses. These are connected with a lace-like lattice. Sprigs from the bouquet forms enter the well. The center depicts a stylized bouquet of four little flat rose forms. The plate has a scalloped edge with embossed scrolls and shell like forms. If you collect flow blue I would suggest that you purchase Petra Williams books on flow blue and mulberry. These 3 books would give you a strong foundation on collecting flow blue. Mary Gaston's book refers to the "Kiswick" pattern by New Wharf Pottery. I compared the two pictures. They are very close. This got my curosity up so I checked on the potters. In Arnold Kowalsky's book "Encyclopedia of Marks" New Wharf Pottery Co. was in business from 1878-1894 and subsequently, Wood & Sons took over in 1894-1982. If you collect flow blue china I would encourage you to join the Flow Blue Club. We are a friendly group of folks striving to learn more. Hope this helps. Margaret
