cordless phone, PANASONIC, PLAYS UNWANTED MUSIC

WHEN MY PHONE RINGS FOR INCOMING CALLS,
the normal rings are almost drowned out by loud music coming fom the cordless phone. This began
after two years of use of the cordless.
HOW CAN I STOP THIS?
I DON'T SEE ANY RELEVANT BUTTON except possibly flash, which I have not used.
