Hello, My names is James, and I have been considering getting 3 horses. I feel it willdo more good to help out a horse in need than just buy one at auction or from breeder. This is why I'm contacting you. I have 5.5 ac home I rural Luther OK. and a 10 yr old son, crazy about horses. My wife and I feel that getting some horses and having family rides and the responsibilty of care will help in the growth of a well rounded young man. I did not see anything as to adoption fees, shots, ect. is this aval. at this time? Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks James.
: I have been rescuing Arabians for 15
: years and I am helping the owner
: place these horses. These horses are
: located in Silt, CO and people
: interested would need to come see
: the horses and meet the owner to see
: about adopting them. The brand
: inspections have been done so it
: would be $15 per horse for that. I
: have the breakdown below for review.
:
: I cannot get her to give the horses
: up and shipping to a place sight
: unseen will not work with this
: woman. To get these horses out of
: there, we need to handle it this
: way, unfortunately, but by keeping
: these horses' needs priority one, I
: believe this can be accomplished. I
: know, I have dealt with worse
: placements than this ;o)
:
: Please contact me via email with
: your phone number and I will call
: you discuss and then put you in
: contact with the owner.
:
: Thank you

: HORSE SUMMARY:
: 5 of the 6 are friendly, will wear
: halters a few are broke but have not
: been ridden in years. A few really
: need feet done, but the majority are
: not bad. They are all a little
: underweight but not
: horrible. I was able to pet and feed
: nickermakers to everyone, including
: the standoffish one.
:
: Horses- all scruffy coats
:
: 1. SSHR Miltiki 4/85
: Bay mare, ok feet. Probably 14.2.
: May exhibit has some colic type
: symptoms with eating hay but eats
: alfalfa cubes. (I guess a teeth
: float would change the problem).
: Broke to ride.
:
: 2. SSHR Chivaz 5/81
: Gray mare Probably 14.2, worse feet.
: Thin. Sweet and broke to ride. Owner
: may want to keep
:

: give papers with him, but I think

: want him cut and may want to keep
: him as she has some people that may
: want to pasture breed.
