: i took delivery of an 8yo thoroughbred
: mare a week ago. real sweet and
: settling in. we have a 22yo horse,
: pony-size that the new horse seems
: to think is "hers". this
: makes it difficult and scarry when
: it comes time to put the
: thoroughbres in her stall at night.
: she fights us it seems, because she
: is seperated form the little horse
: that stays out at night. we have
: been kinda tricking her into her
: stall, but this is not an obviously
: long-term solution. eventually, she
: will able to stay out too, if she
: wants, but for now, we want to put
: her up at night abd want to be able
: to do this in the future if need be.
: please please please. can anyone
: help me? i really love her and am
: NOT going to give up. oh, i am new
: to the horse business. my husband
: and i have sicilian donkeys and
: pigmy goat rescues.
