Hope everyone is having a great start to their new year! I wanted to post a listing of horses currently available thru our rescue program. They are as follows:
registered name is Don't Ever Fall in Love
Standardbred mare, lip tattooed, 21 years young, great shape, gray in color (rare for this breed), possibly bred (buckskin QH) due to exposure at sale barn she was rescued from. Shes easy to handle, loves to be groomed, rides and drives, still has some spunk in her! Would be suitable for an advanced child or any adult thats not a timid rider. Looking for semi retirement home as a trail horse or companion. This horse is sound but has been an Amish horse so shes had a hard life and is ready for a break and some extra TLC. Pictures by e-mail. Fee is $350 Adoption application approval A MUST!
14 year old sorrel Haflinger mare, stands 13.2 hands tall and just as wide! Has a docked tail and minimal white. Rides and drives. Will make a great kids pony as long as shes allowed to pasture with minimal stalling. She gets a bit antsy coming out of the stall and for the first little while if stalled for long periods of time..otherwise shes great. We are bringing her back from a placement in Georgia due to a personality conflict between her and the current adopter. Shes just not comfortable making Butterscotch listen when shes handling her so we are bringing her back for some ground manners refreshing and training. The mare trail rides like a dream..non-spooky and will ride out alone with no problems. Easy keeper!! Rides in a halter/lead or snaffle bit. Very responsive and a cute little mover. Adopt now for leadline or walk-trot and let your kids move up with her. Previously owned by young girl moving into QH circuit and requiring a new mount..only reason for placement. Adoption application approval a must! Pictures thru e-mail. Fee is $900.
6 year old Kentucky Mountain Horse/cross pony, stands 12 hands, dark palomino in color, great with kids, handles easily, stands to be tacked, groomed, good for vet and farrier, would make excellent hunter mount for experienced rider, moves out fluidly, fancy little pony. This pony is west of Columbus, OH with her current owners awaiting a new home. Pictures by e-mail. If interested, please contact us for info...we will forward your info. Price on this gorgeous girl is $1500/OBO.
PLEASE CONSIDER PLACEMENT WITH A RESCUE OVER AN AUCTION...THE FEELING WILL BE WELL WORTH THE FEW DOLLARS YOU LOOSE!
