I'm posting this message b/c I've been to this sale several times and I know that there are horses that are in danger of going to slaughter. There is almost always a kill buyer named Frank that goes to this sale and buys all the low priced horses. I know this is late notice but if anyone can make it Monday or Tuesday to the sale it is in Deleware OH...go to www.bloodedhorse.com and they have an online catalog. Usually for some reason, he gets alot of the very first ones to sell...I've also noticed that alot of times the first ones are aged broodmares selling open. If you need help figuring out which ones need rescuing I have my "list" ...this time it includes 29 that I have found out of the 600 plus horses selling that will probably sell cheaply..( 100-800 dollars). Here are the ones I'm most concerned about...#16 Never Fall in Love, a pacer grey mare that is "very nice" according to catalog but sells open...Frank will surely try to buy her if he is there. #417 Real Rusty born in 2001 pacer chesnut gelding..went down in an accident 12-05 and is recovering from stifle injury. #463 Desert Pine born in 2000, had a bone chip removed and owners don't want to wait for him to rest any longer...last raced September 2005. Numbers 1, 2, 14, 9, 16, 333, 200, 546, 551, 175, 236, 212, 213, 591, 235, 298, 225, 305, 395, 397, 412, 415, 417, 458, 459, 461, 463, and 600. I'm sure there are more that are at risk but this is plenty to start with. I probably will not be able to make it to the sale this time. Thanks. Jennifer
