Ohio APHA mares for sale/trade

Sassy Silver Fly
5 year old Registered Paint mare. Green broke but very quiet. This
mare is ready to go into showmanship now. Anyone can handle her on
the
ground but for right now she is recommended for at least an advanced
beginner rider. She is 15.1hh and 1100 lbs. I have her priced at
$2300.
This mare would not be for sale if she wasn't too big for me. I have
hip problems and it is painful for me to ride her. I looked for 2
1/2
years for the disposition this mare has. She is an affectionate mare
that loves people. She is very respectful and I rarely even put a
halter on her to work with her. She leads with just a hand on her
chin.
Pines Chipawaa Sky KG
Coming 3 year old Registered Paint mare. Has already been lightly
started. Walks and trots willingly. Was started by a 12 year old
handicapped boy. Unfortunately, he outgrew this filly that he
raised.
They were going to take her to auction because they could not get
her
sold last fall. I bought her to prevent this. We just do not have
time
to finish this many young horses.
What I am looking for is a smaller horse (not pony). I am 5'1" tall
and just am not able to easily mount a taller horse. I love paints
but
also would like to look at some sane and safe arabians or
haflingers.
I prefer mares but will look at the right geldings. I do not want a
super stocky built horse. I would like the horse to have already
seen
lots of trails but it does not need to neck rein. Training does not
need to be fancy but I want a horse that I do not have to worry
about
getting hurt with. I am not a trainer and am not looking for a
project
horse. I would also consider a trade for a 2 horse bumper pull trailer
My horses will only go to homes that I know they will be taken care
of.
