I feel that the public needs to be aware of Susan Hotte of Bastrop, Texas. She recently sold two Friesian cross stud colts. These colts were the result of stolen breedings. She drove her mares to the stable the stallion was boarded at, in the middle of the night. She bred the mares with out the stallion owners knowledge or permission. She has claimed several different stories, all of which are proven lies.
Not only did she steel breedings, but on a separate occasion, she stole horses. She was paid to keep three horses at her property. The people who owned the horses never came to see their horses, but paid board every month. After a year of keeping them she sold them or gave them to someone else, claiming they were hers. When the true owners of the horses found out, they presented boarding recites proving they indeed had been paying board. They were lucky enough to get their horses back, however they have once again been stolen out of their own pasture.
