I'm very sorry to learn that yet another person has found to their dismay that NOT all rescues are legit. That's right. You are not the only one to have your trust be betrayed by an unethical horse rescue operation. I know it's difficult to believe, but I've heard worse stories.
I'm glad to learn that mare eventually wound up in good hands.
