Hello All:
I have to agree with Mike Brunk. I believe the Illinois Tree Licensing Act will be great for our profession. I am a former licensed Illinois Tree Expert.I took the exam back in the seventies. I remember it being a very difficult exam and I was proud to have it. We were all upset when it went out in the eighties, with enforcement being one of the reasons given. There were many attempts after that to get it back, with no luck.I agree that the law may not be perfect at first, but I believe it's too important for our profession to just blow it off. I'm reading a lot of great input here, and with the right representation, I'm sure we can get it going in the right direction. Thank you Tom Green for bringing this to light.
