PETER DULA & THE ROWERS STILL TOP OF THE HOTDISC CHART
A Slovakian band are still at the top of the Hotdisc main and independent charts this week. Peter Dula & The Rowers with guest Billy Ryan are just ahead of Gord Bamford who moves up to number 2 while Nick and Noah drop to 3. All three acts are extremely close together in terms of DJs ratings which compile the chart, and once again this week all three acts were in the lead at some point during the seven days.
While the Top 10 is pretty static there is one notable exception - Donna Frost's "Jacksonville" is the biggest mover in the Top 40, jumping from 12 to 8 to give her her biggest Hotdisc hit. It's taken from her long-awaited new album "Girls Like Us".
The Bellhops, Nicki Gillis and Graham Clark are the other big movers inside the Top 20 positions with Aubrey Lovejoy holding down the UK and Ireland number 1 spot once again.
The Hotdisc Top 20 programme presented by Jackie Storrar on CMR Nashville Radio will take a break till July 9th as Jackie is on holiday. It will return when she gets back from her world tour. Hotdisc Radio and Hotdisc Television will be launched at the end of July 2009.
