Helen Mateki has just completed her first single and is now set for release to radio. A song written by The Mateki's good friend and Award winning Australian songwriter Brenda Lee Heathcote and produced by Paul Mateki, "Talking to Ghosts" is a haunting reflection for those that have lost someone close and still feels their daily presence in all they do. The song was originally released by Australian singer Vanja as part of Brenda's 2008 "Light of Hope" CD project, that the Mateki's were also part of, warning of the dangers of the ever increasing violence in our communities. Brenda lost her brother Brian to murder in 2007...thus the project. Helen felt such a connection to the song, due to a tragic loss in her family, that it is now hers to release one year hence.
