IT’S THAT TIME AGAIN! Colonel Buster Doss Music Group presents Jamboree-By-The-Lake. September 4, 5, 6, 2009. Open to all independent artists, DJs, promoters, records labels, etc. WORLDWIDE! Held at the Winchester City Park in Winchester, Tennessee. Oh! By the way the Buster Doss Music Group is celebrating our 50 year anniversary in the music industry. “We may not be the cheapest but we have the experience to back us up!”
All performers will be performing on the main stage. You may perform any style of music during your timeslot. The jamboree will also not start until Friday night about 6:00p.m. Track singers will be given 30 minutes of time, just like the bands. We feel it best to give the artists more time to make it worth their travel time and to provide the people QUALITY instead of QUANTITY. Artists-there will be a place for you to set up your product(s) for sale. Just like Fan Fair, all artists will be where people can come meet and greet you. In that same area there will be space for ANY DJ who would like to do a remote interview with the artists, etc.
ATTENTION RECORD COMPANIES, STUDIOS, PROMOTERS: There will be space for you to have a booth as well to promote your company or you artist(s).
There will also be a small program that will be handed out to everyone that will have some pictures of the artists, schedule, etc. We will be selling ad space in this program if you would like to get your name out there. The price of the ads are as follows:
Full Page- $200.00, 1/2 page-$100.00, ¼ page-$50.00, and a business card size ad is-$30.00.
ARTISTS: ALL ARTISTS MUST SUBMIT AND APPLICATION WHICH CAN BE FOUND AT www.jamboree-by-the-lake.com website. There is a deadline. All applications must be submitted no later than June3, 2009. We will prepare and contact you with a schedule so you know well in advance when you are performing.
We have already received emails from artists, DJs, and promoters who are already planning on attending. Remember, it will not work unless WE ALL WORK TOGETHER! A wise man once told me, “a stick can be broken, but try breaking a bundle!”
Be watching the Jamboree By The Lake Website for this years giveaway and you do not have to be present to be a winner this year just a participant. Although we would love to have you stay all weekend!
