Dee Dee visits Granville Island in Vancouver Posted by Kari S on August 30, 2009, 7:14 pm 75.157.148.59 We took Dee Dee to one of our favourite Vancouver spots earlier this week: Granville Island. It boasts a fabulous public market, the Emily Carr Art Institute, a number of craftsman industries, and dozens of artisan boutiques. There's a lovely duck pond near the entrance: A fun Kid's Market houses several toy shops: The Public Market is filled with a variety of food and flower stalls: Yum!! Of course, the real reason we go to Granville Island is for Lee's Donuts (the BEST donuts in the world!!!) Dee Dee wouldn't just take our word for it: And while you sit and munch on donuts, you can enjoy watching people, birds, and boats passing by Dee Dee visits Stanley Park next and tomorrow she will ship to her new destination.
