I have been a terrible hostess to Dee Dee this week, I am afraid. I have been caught up sending one son off to college in Chicago, setting another up in his first apartment, and getting my youngest ready to return to high school. I have been recovering from surgery done earlier this summer and so now am having to catch up with normal life (translation: yardwork!!!!!)
Dee Dee has been the perfect house guest, quietly entertaining herself, and checking out the chaos otherwise known as my doll room.
She is staying in my home in North Vancouver, which is located on the North Shore just across the inlet from the city of Vancouver. North Vancouver is known for its mountains, forests, and outdoor sports.

I have promised to be a much better hostess and show Dee Dee around the Vancouver area a bit over the next few days before sending her off on her next adventure. I hope you can catch some of her sight-seeing posts
