Thought I was going to save this till we went to IFDC, but we decided to drive up to Grand Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park today, and I thought, why not? Dressed Bebe and off we went. We had lunch at the Grand Lake lodge. This was our view from the table:
They had a cool fire truck out front. Good idea, as the lodge burned in the 60's. Bebe perched on the hood:
Stopped on the way back at an area with some old dude ranch cabins and equipment:
There was a mama Elk and her baby near the path on the way back. I am so bummed these pix didn't come out:

Best part crossing the continental divide we got a good look at a bull moose. You don't get to see those often, even in the park:
Every time I get the privilege of spending time in the park, I am so thankful that I can be in that beautiful scenery in on hour or so. How lucky is that?
