So while Penny was out and about, she decided to visit the Swetsville Zoo. This local park is located on a private farm, where for over 30 years the owner has been building crazy fun sculptures to share with the public. He is self taught and the park is privately funded. I chatted with him when I was out there that morning, as he was out on the grounds picking up trash! You might have actually seen an article about this place in the Costco Connection a couple of years ago, as our local Costco is right next door. Anyway, here are a couple of shots:
One looking over some of the other sculptures:
The Poudre River was flooding, so I couldn't get a better shot over the park.
I told Penny not to get too close, but she did and look what happened!
Luckily, I was able to make the beast spit her out. She was a little huffy after that and made me take her home.
