Sign up for the Holiday Gift Exchange is now closed.
We are going to be celebrating during the entire month of December with a total of 4 exchanges. You can sign up for all of them or only those that interest you. Hopefully we have managed to include something for everyone. Please email the admin at dolldivasmoderator@yahoo.ca to sign up.

Ornament Exchange
Diorama/Prop Exchange
White Elephant Exchange
Each of the exchanges will have a $20-$25 dollar limit on them. EXCLUDING shipping. To clarify, $20 is the minimum and we suggest $25 as the maximum, if you go over a tiny bit, that is fine. The cost of shipping is extra, above the $20-$25 cost of the item. We encourage folks to buy new and work with the questionnaire they receive in order to find a gift that fits the recipients likes/wants. One can also search through the posts on the board of your recipient to get a better idea of their likes and dislikes as well.
You can sign up through Thursday, November 5th. We will email you with the name of the person(s) you will be sending to on Monday, November 9th.
For International packages, you will have until November 20th to buy, wrap and send out your gifts. For mailing within your own Country, you will have until November 27th to buy, wrap and send out your gifts. It is VERY important that you mail your gifts out in time so that we can all enjoy them together. We want to be sure our overseas members get them in time to join the fun. We do ask that everyone email the admin account to let us know when you have sent and received your packages.
Important: Be sure to wrap your swap items and include a card (or even just a Post-it!) inside with your name, as well as the name you use when you post. When you package the items please make sure the shipping box has lots of protection inside. Please write on the outside of the shipping box which exchange that particular box is for.
We have set up the following schedule for opening gifts and sharing our thanks with pictures and posts.
Candy/Treats: Friday December 11th
Ornament: Thursday December 17th
Diorama/Prop: Tuesday December 22nd
White Elephant: Monday December 29th
The sharing days are an integral part of the swaps and we fully expect everyone who signs up to participate with the posting of photos and/or a thank you.
We realize there will be things that come up and that the mail will not always cooperate. The dates above are not the only dates you can share. We will have sharing the entire week of each exchange. It is our hope that everyone will be able to share in the Candy Exchange on December 12th . However if you get your items later than the official "share date", please still share them!
When you sign up we will send you a short questionnaire to help your exchange partners find the perfect gifts for you. You MUST return it to us by Thursday, November 5th to be registered in the exchanges.
Regarding the Candy/Treat Exchange:
We are sure many of you are wonderful bakers and treat makers however, we ask that you buy your candy and or treats for this exchange. We need all items to be sealed for gift giving.
Regarding the Diorama/Prop Exchange:
Although we do encourage you to buy new, we do realize that we have very talented board members who are able to create marvelous diorama items, these would certainly be acceptable as well.
