...all the exponents of the "art" of climate change denial have all been shown to be adroit storytellers, in the negative sense. so, no, i won't be adopting any of the pantheon of climate change scepticism. it's a bunch of tabloid-fuelled garbage.
by the by, one of the people teaching the course has a more up-to-date edition of a book than i have, thereby convincing me that they're bang-up-to-date.
when i first went to university, i studied physics. it was in the 1980s. we learned about the climate change science of the time. we had a computer room. we were connected to various computers around the world. we communicated. climate change scepticism came down the wires. from the united states of america. we all discussed it then. it was mindbending propaganda. we ditched it.
over 30 years later the same old sceptical arguments are trotted out. with twists and flourishes. they're still as wrong as they've ever been.
if you can't tell why sceptical arguments are wrong, you don't know enough yet, that's all i can advise. you think you're a freethinker, but actually, you've been hoodwinked. you'll be bound to repeat one of the denial mantras sooner or later to justify not learning anything new (from your frame of reference).
i urge *you* to open up your mind to the science of global warming and the realities of climate change.
