gutted, have to say. can't argue that utd were dominant in the 2nd half, but aside from the first ten mins, we more than matched you in the first and should have been 2-1 up at half time, if tevez hadnt hit the post when it was easier to score.
having admitted you desrved the win, im sure you'll allow that to lose 6mins into what was already a ridiculously generous 4mins of stoppage time (were there any fouls in 2nd half?) is pretty frickin galling and the ref was clearly favouring united throughout the 2nd half. call it a combination of big club bias, the OT effect and fergie time, but its killed us off in the end today.
in terms of the performance, we werent good enough at the back, simple as that. richards was particularly poor, the guy is a great athlete but his brain isnt a footballers. we lack height and are suffering a little from too many new players in key positions. still, there were plenty of positives, de jong and bellamy were awesome and i think we'll do ok this season. united were better than i expected tbh, having seen them somehow beat arsenal when they were second best i thought we would be in with a shout today, but no question they were the better team.
still think chelsea will win the title though...
