If I remember correctly nearly every electronic device in Casino Royale (from a bank of CCTV monitors to Bond's laptop) was manufactured by Sony. Of course Bond wouldn't be Bond if he didn't drive an Aston Martin and wear a watch by Omega/Rolex so we forgive those.
Your post below about computers now targeting ads according to the appearance of the consumer reminded me of Minority Report and that film (like so many nowadays) is full of examples. I won't start listing them but I would like to share one example that I find very interesting.
As a boy I can recall these anti-smoking films in which Superman battled Nick-O-Teen. Here's an example.
Imagine, then, how curious I found it when I learned that Philip Morris paid £20,000 to ensure that their Marlboro brand would feature prominently in Superman II (incidentally in sequence that also features Coca-Cola).
