Appeals to authority are bad anyway, Sue. However, when articles you post make statements like "Connolley routinely uses his editorial clout to tear down scientists of great accomplishment such as Fred Singer, the first director of the U.S. National Weather Satellite Service and a scientist with dazzling achievements." about shifty oil industry funded goons like Singer, then the type of 'authority' appealed to ought to be pointed out.
If you don't want me to keep pointing out that these guys are funded by giant corporations who are keenly interested in diverting attention away from the damage their product does, then I'd stop posting stuff about them.
Still not found a source for that logarithmic effect of CO2 on temperature btw.
