ive just got a kz1300 a1 its not been used for a long time , ive replaced the oil & filter – plugs – new air filter – fuel tank cleaned – inline fuel fiter - carbs have been rebuilt by z-parts but they have not been balanced yet but its hard to start cold + has a poor idle – no idle & sometimes it revs up from idle & seems to stick at hi revs for a bit , throttle cables all ok , compression is 8-to 10 across the 6 cylinders but number 5 plug seems sooty but the rest seem good do you think its a air leak some where? hope you could get back to me with some help.
