yeah Oz did all the work on the engine, well him and an engineer he knows who used to drag race the 13 in the 80's. So the deal was if he did the work, he wanted to be there when she was started (to ensure it is done correctly).
I will be with Oz just before lunch tomorrow to drop the bike off.
Definitely need to meet up this summer

: Ah, I jumped to a conclusion as you
: mentioned Oz (about 6 miles from me, and has
: worked wonders on mine) and Worcester!
:
: Still, we must all make a effort to get a
: row of the things together sometime this
: year.

: hey Pete,
:
: Nah I'm from down South, live right next to
: Gatwick Airport. I read about the 100 mile
: run they were doing and thought it would be
: good to join in and a good date to get the
: bike finished by.
:
: Yes - would be great to get a couple of pics
: of the bikes together are you going on the
: run or just meeting at the pub. We will have
: to meet up

: Are you a Midland Man Mike?
:
: I still have my A5 which I brought new in
: '83.
:
: I'm based in Stourbridge so perhaps we could
: get a photo of two of the beasts together!
:
: I did go to the Waterman at Hatton (Warwick)
: a couple of years ago and was surprised to
: see two other 13s there that night but I
: have never got round to going over there
: again.

: hey Phil, which foot pegs did you end up
: going
: for? I'm just about to order the pegs and
: master cylinder off of the Jap site you
: highlighted a while ago.
:
: The bike is off up to Oz's tomorrow for it's
: final tweak then it's MOT time, I'm hoping
: to get it back and done in time for a run
: out from Worcester in aid of the Midlands
: Air Ambulance 26th of next month.
:
: Not sure if mine qualifies for "how
: many left" as I've never ridden it and
: she most certainly isn't standard but she is
: still the 13/six
:
: Cheers to all

: Hi Phill, how are ya fella? Not gone too mad
: this time, different headlight, different
: footpegs & polished the rearsets, the
: exhaust (still a 6 into 2, but now
: all-stainless with different cans), painted
: the engine while it was in bits...that's
: about it from memory mate

: hi Phil,i bet you cant wait to get back on
: the
: road and i bet you could never let it go
: either, how far have you gone with the mods
: then Phil
: --Previous Message--
: Mine should be back on the road in the next
: couple of weeks after being off for the last
: 18 months for an engine top-end rebuild, new
: full exhaust (the bloke who fabricated it
: had it for 6 months ) & a few other
: odds & sods. Had mine for just over 10
: years now, although it's been more off the
: road than on in the last 5, my fault as I'm
: addicted to the modifying bug. But it's 99%
: finished in my eyes now...maybe
