Hi Phil,
Thanks for the suggestion, I have exactly what you have described, I swapped it for a set of old carbs I had. Its in pretty good nick but I'm not sure whether or not it will fit until I have the battery in situ. Im just waiting for some wiring to turn up (hopefully tomorrow) I can then finish wiring the battery and then have a good look at exactly how much room I have.
Having said all that, I really do fancy and nice set of Bell Mouths, I may just have to get some made up - decisions, decisions 
so near.......

PS think I'm gonna go ahead and order a set of the rear sets and master cylinder off of that japanese site you found earlier in the year. With the exchange rate they worked out around £550 - ouch!! lots of dosh but it should finish the bike off nice.
