Rich
I'm with you on this I know my 13 and it will run and run no hick ups. Apart from finding out my optimate had hidden the fact my battery was shot in Holland it's never let me down.
I am sure I could go right now and start her up and follow your route with the only hick up being I couldn't take the time off work to do it in.
I bet it awesome to cover so many miles... a feeling of great achievement. I'd love to do the same just never seem to find time. Mind you after seeing Otto's photo's I'm going to try an hook up with next spring summer and do one of his many adventures.

: That's some ride. I've done much the same on
: my Goldwing but I worry myself silly if I
: take the Z13 for anything above 50 miles!

: During August I spent a fortnight away on
: mine travelling Belgium, Netherlands, across
: to Copenhagen, up to the top of Denmark,
: then headed south through Germany to
: Switzerland, headed west into France. then
: up through France and back to home. Some
: 3100 miles, with 2 failures...a loose speedo
: cable on the autobahn, and a blown headlight
: bulb. Much of it covered at 80 to 100 mph.
: Used some oil and a lot of fuel but
: generally wonderful. Will still put more

: Big smiles and lots of comfort and fun.

: Go for it I say.
