You only tighten the bolt FINGER tight so tensioner is resting on the guide, not tight up against it.
Under normal running conditions, you will adjust every 5000 miles or so.
The problem is with a manual adjuster, if you forget to adjust, you will one day open the throttle and risk the chain jumping a link or 2 and bending valves.
For 100% safety and security, use a spring loaded ZZR1100 tensioner with the shortened spring, then you can fit it and forget it.
