As Pete F already said this IS an unusual problem...
AND there are no faulse neutrals unless you are lame or so whatsoever normally!!
Regarding the gearbox regarding the 1300:s you can normally do anything unnatural and it will still work normally..
But ok...Once in our lives there COULD be a problem..
And for me you´r problem seems fairly easy...you have problems with 4 and 5:th gear...wich share the same shiftlever...
Someone earlier owner has prabaly run an tank into your gearlever when he where in 4:th or 5:th..and therefore bent the lever...*smile*...
In shorter words...:
As it regards BOTH 4:th and 5:th gear it most be the lever that is bent for som unusual reason..
