Cam Chain Tensioner Mod

Having just bought my first Z1300 I am now about to change the CCT as advised in several web pages. Can someone with Z1300 experience tell me please if I should use the ZZR-1100 part which has a stronger spring in it and can apparently cause wear elsewhere or replace the part with a new Z1300 CCT? Or, is there another way to go that I haven't come across?? Thanks in advance for any good advice.
