Everything you say is true.
The o ring can be replaced with a kawasaki one that cures the problem and a bracket that holds the oil oil gallery in place........its the first job I always do !!!!!
I love Z1300's & VMAX's.......so different but both great bikes to ride and own.
I guess you are right, the best idea is to have one of both, but I struggle to get time to ride and maintain 1 bike never mind 2 !!
I will never stop visiting this site as the owners are good crack and I enjoy sharing my experience with owners to keep their bikes going, and its no secret from the die hards on this site........I have not owned my last Z1300 yet by a long way.....LOL !!!!
