Make a 50/50 mix water and coolant.
Fill radiator slowly to release as much air as possible (you will hear it "burping" as you fill it.
Add mix to overflow bottle (to half way).
Leave rad cap off and start engine with bike on the CENTRE STAND.
Let engine get upto full running temp (fan cuts in). This will ensure 99% of air is out of the system. Top up accordingly.
Carefully replace rad cap and run bike checking overflow bottle level over the next 100 miles.

: Any special tips on swapping out the old
: radiator fluid? I recieved my new hoses
: today and figure I'll get to it in the next
: few weeks I hope. I've looked at the manual
: and it looks to be a pain in the butt with
: the overflow tank being down low and doing
: everything thru it versus just filling thru
: the radiator cap like usual. Any thoughts or
: ideas appreciated, thanks
