changing rad fluid?

Any special tips on swapping out the old radiator fluid? I recieved my new hoses today and figure I'll get to it in the next few weeks I hope. I've looked at the manual and it looks to be a pain in the butt with the overflow tank being down low and doing everything thru it versus just filling thru the radiator cap like usual. Any thoughts or ideas appreciated, thanks
