Are they a lot of trouble

I know it is a 'how long is a piece of string' question, but from reading through various forums it seems these bikes are a lot of trouble to keep running...or is it the old ' only post when a fault is found syndrome'....just asking as I really fancy one in the next few months but not if they are a lot of bother to keep running. Good forum here btw
