Piston Circlips

Any advice re piston circlips. For some odd reason circlips for every other Kawasaki are a couple of quid for a set but for the Z1300 the best price I can find is 1.25 Each (each!!! - for 20mm of 1mm wire) - now I know I have spent some pretty silly money on my bike over the years but 15 quid for 12 ciclips is new territory - any options or just suck it up like usual ?
