Bike runs great. It's all stock except for the coils. I would just hate to break down is all. It only has 4k miles on it so it's basically 30 years new. I'm gonna debate it. the seat on my klr650 looks so uncomfortable compared to the z's for a 1000 mile ride

: I con't remember where I found it but I'm sure
: it was on the web, I also found a guy who
: made a streamliner to try and break the
: world land speed record using 2 13 engines
: however I can't find that either now.
:
: His name was Don Vesco I did write to his
: brother and try to get some pictures and
: info but he ignored me. :-(

: find it? Some fella on a Z1300 still holds
: the world record for a powered vehicle to
: circumnavigate Australia, I do remember the
: article stating that the exhausts were
: flattened & worn-away on either side by
: the end of the trip because of the extreme
: cornering lol.

: Daan saaf, innit.

: I'd do it.
:
: I toured Ireland no problems, I rode to
: Holland (Okay found battery to be knackered
: but otherwise no problems.)
:
: I wouldn't hesitate to do 1000 miles. If it
: runs okay to start with just do it.
:
: Did you know the fastest circumnavigation
: was done on a Z1300 and to this day it's not
: been beaten.

: I'm just wondering about how these are on
: long
: trips? Not a ready supply of parts if
: something were to go wrong. Thought of doing
: a 1000 mile trip but I'm not sure yet
