Hi Ray, usually if the temp. sensor goes out of range you'll get a DFI warning on the dash and a fault code in the little window on the DFI control box, are you getting that?
Other things that can cause rich running are a seized check-valve in the fuel return line (screwed into the bottom of the tank) and one or more injectors that are dribbling instead of giving a fine spray due to fuel varnish, you can run a couple of bottles of injector cleaner in the fuel tank but if that doesn't cure it you need to remove them & get them checked and cleaned by an injection specialist.
