: Phil,
:
: You need to find a ZZR1100 Clutch Slave
: Cylinder and make a small casing, and find a
: suitable Clutch Master Cylinder too.
: I am sure there is a TEC BULLETIN on the
: conversion on this site, or if not on the
: USA one.
: Its a very worthwhile conversion.
:
: If you are stripping the motor, you would be
: mad not to change any component that will
: wear with time.
:
: There is only one paint that will stay on
: your engine through all weathers for many
: years and still look good, and that is
: SMOOTH SILVER HAMMERITE, the spray type.
: Dont forget though, no paint will bond to
: and surface unless its prepared to a very
: clean standard.
:
: Hope that helps.

: Phil,
:
: I too just bought another Z1300 and am
: beginning to strip and refurb, ready for use
: early 2009.
:
: The most important mods and updates for me
: are as follow.
:
: ZZR1100 Cam Chain Tensioner.
: Low PSI Fuel Pump.
: AW82 2.7OHM Coils.
: Hydraulic Clutch.
: Progressive Fork Springs.
: Re-Paint Engine.
:
: There are of course many other mods you can
: do to the Z1300 including better brakes, but
: the ones above are by far the best, and will
: make the bike perform and run far better,
: without spending a fortune.

: hi folks, earlier on in the year i bought my
: first ever z1300,like most folk on here its
: been a life long dream to own one, never
: satisfied with how they look or the
: condition its in,which to be honest isnt to
: bad,but iam gonna strip her down and refurb
: it,hopefully back to new like condition,so
: iam asking all you experienced folk on
: here, and there is a lot of you,as to what
: are the best things to get done while the
: bike is in bits and on the bench, ive picked
: up several ideas off this site but dont
: really no where to start, things like that
: plastic cam chain wheel and tenchioner, but
: where do you get all the new bits to replace
: them, any ideas and help would be highly
: appreciated.many thanks.
: kindest regards phill
